Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Imprimo application ("the App") operated by Overpass Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Imprimo is a macOS application that displays brief affirmation messages on your screen. The App includes features such as:
- AI-generated affirmations based on user-selected goals
- Custom affirmation creation and management
- Configurable display timing and scheduling
- Automatic hiding during screen sharing and recording
3. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes on devices that you own or control.
4. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any part of it
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to bypass any security measures of the App
- Use automated systems or scripts to access the AI generation service
5. AI-Generated Content
The App uses artificial intelligence to generate affirmation suggestions. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content is provided as suggestions only
- You are responsible for reviewing and approving any affirmations you use
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or effectiveness of AI-generated content
- AI generation requires an internet connection and may be subject to rate limits
6. No Medical or Professional Advice
The App is intended for general mental conditioning and self-improvement purposes only. The App does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, or professional advice. If you have concerns about your mental health, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
7. Purchases and Refunds
The App is available for purchase through the Mac App Store. All purchases are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Refund requests are handled through Apple's refund process per their policies.
8. Updates
We may from time to time release updates to the App. These updates may include bug fixes, new features, or other improvements. You agree that we have no obligation to provide any specific updates or to maintain any particular features.
9. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Overpass Ltd. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL OVERPASS LTD. BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Overpass Ltd. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Overpass Ltd. is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
